No Allo Darlin' for you?

And no, El Tee, I thought about Ted Leo but the shows sold out before I could decide. Going to The Cherch for Ed Askew tomorrow instead.

Looking like Allo Darlin' tonight, Ed Askew at The Cherch tomorrow and Sonic Circuits gig at Pyramid Saturday for me.

Allo Darlin will be on WMUC at 1:30 pm.

Wave Pictures surprised as well... a sculpture is a sculpture, marmelade is marmelade, etc... their songs actually stuck in my head more than the Allo's did.

DFCF @ Strathmore last night was a lot of fun.  songs sounded beautiful with an orchestra, especially in that room.  loved the song selection, they all worked great with the strings & horns.  Tiny Vessels --> Transatlanticism was a great way to finish.  nice seeing all the usual suspects in attendance too.

Had a great time, and REALLY enjoyed seeing Sweetcell, Lily, Bombay, thatguy, etc. Having Ben take my request for "I'll Be Your Mirror", saying they wouldn't play it, then changing his mind was awesome. That's probably one of my favorite Velvets songs. Loved the show, thought they sounded great.
