Sweet, I'll get that one up - thanks.  I love those guys, but I'm gonna stick around here instead of driving up to Balt.

Mark gave Gorden a verbal smackdown at one point and hissed "play it SLOWER" and Gorden just sat there, obediently letting Mark do his thing.

here's a review, bearman:

http://consequenceofsound.net/2012/09/live-review-mark-kozelek-at-d-c-s-howard-theater-927/

Anyone go to Mark Kozelek? How was it? I had to miss it sadly.

i was there, too, and think this review is very accurate.  it was my first time catching kozelek, and i'm not sure what i expected, but i walked out feeling rather anxious/uncomfortable.  the music was lovely, but he came across as a creepy asshole.  i read that review, which put the show in a slightly different perspective, and now i can't wait to see him again. so weird.

this week, i've got animal collective, free fest, and frightened rabbit.

Anyone else going to Walkmen on Thursday?

Hopefully if there's a tiebreaker game, it will be in the afternoon and I can go to baseball then Walkmen.

I'm going to the Walkmen on Thursday.

And most likely Freefest.

It's the first time in a long time I've been excited to see the opening band AND the headliner.

Although I was pleasantly surprised last weekend at Corin Tucker!
