War on Drugs/Walkmen was really fun.  I forgot how completely cute the Walkmen's lead singer is.  Cute.

Was hoping Hand Grenade Job would play early enough for me to run to Jon Spencer but no dice. The zine reading portion of the night at St. Stephen's was pretty good but went way long. Hand Grenade Job were phenomenal as always. Doubt anybody else could make The Misfits' "Bullet" sound beautiful. Mary Christ were pretty good too. Made it to Sova in time for Screen Vinyl who played a reliably solid set.

Funny the last time I saw Public Image ltd was 23 years ago.  I won't be at the show tonight but hope you have a good time.

Jens Lekman friday.  Hopefully it doesn't sell out so I have some room to move around the 930 club for a change.
