they were supposed to start fixing it this morning.
They are saying the Metro Gallery will definitely be in business for tomorrow night.  If anyone else goes, PM me on here and we can chat between bands!

Gary Clark JR sounds familar because Gary Clark played for the redskins.

Gary Clark / Gary Clark Jr reminds me of the time in 2002-ish when the David Cross show at the Black Cat sold out way in advance, and I couldn't figure out why everyone was going nuts over the violinist from King Crimson.

Whoops.

That could also be what it is. Regardless, if anyone has an extra ticket I'm more than happy to take if off their hands!

Loved him when he was on Hee Haw with Buck Owens.

Grass Widow/Garland of Hours/Hand Grenade Job tonight at Comet
Pharmakon tomorrow at Black Cat
Possibly Cigarette at 52 O ST Studios Tuesday

Seriously, dream pop fans on this board have slept on Cigarette too long.
One of the better current local bands.
Couple tracks here.

They had the full LP up but took it down for some unknown reason.

Similar experience several years ago. Tim Gunn was speaking at the UM student union and I wondered why the long line for Crimson's second bassist (Trey Gunn).

Nope. It is a bunch of studios from what I understand; some of which have artists living in them.

sounds . . . god awful.  as in, my ex girlfriend left me to start a "noise commune" on campus, awful.
