Well, I'm last man standing in my house...spent the entire week taking care of three sick people in various stages of illness, so I'm wiped.

Still bucked up and went, though.  Glad I did...maybe the best YLT show I've seen.  Killer jams.

YLT tonight...if I don't get lazy and/or kids don't get sick.

Christ, it was almost ten years ago.  Nothing quite so sobering as realizing how old I'm getting.

One of my favorite moments last night was a lady standing near me: she complained that the first set was too slow and quite, since she likes the louder songs.  They told her friend, during one of the guitar solos, that it was too noisy and that's how you get bottles thrown at your head.  Can't win 'em all, I guess.

I thought the pacing of the show was perfect. Beautiful mellow set and a killer rock show second. She sounds like an annoying asshole who likes bitching for the sake of bitching.

Oh and the pre-show PA music was great. First times hearing both Toy Love and The Verlaines on the club PA.

Agreed...I just assumed the woman was a big fan of Sugar Cube and that was about it
