This week rollcall

I thought both Swirlies and Kurt Vile were great but I was sure glad I brought my earplugs.  Also, I had the most annoying crowd experiences at that show that I've ever had.  One group that couldn't hold their self importance and a second that couldn't hold whatever substance they were on.  Truly annoying.  It was a much better draw then I expected as well. 

I had plugs too. Couldn't handle Swirlies. I stood behind the wall and at times had to leave the lobby and go outside. (As it was for OMD - which I left halfway through and was using plugs.) So funny, the crowd was odd. (luckily I encountered friendly odd ones give or take one or two.) Crowd really filled in as he hit the stage. So hot and found it hard to wait the half hour b/w late sets. Poor friends really wanted to go by 11:15/30 b/c of heat but also they thought the songs sounded the same.

And I'm jealous of everyone who saw Swirlies. It sounds like what I would have liked to have seen.

I saw that Priests side project once. Honestly forget which members make it up. They played a matinee at The Pinch in March I think.

Edit: Taylor, the Bassist is in that band. Come to think of it, I am unsure if you have seen them with her yet. They have a much tighter, fuller sound with her. You can hear it on the new Priests tape on their Bandcamp. Young Trynas also have one.

Edit: Taylor, the Bassist is in that band. Come to think of it, I am unsure if you have seen them with her yet. They have a much tighter, fuller sound with her. You can hear it on the new Priests tape on their Bandcamp.
