^ weird that Despot is not on the bill...

His name was on the tour poster on facebook. He is a flaky guy for sure. Hmmm, has he been at any of the other dates? I still hope he comes out for a song or 2.

@despotroast: About to get on a plane to NY to see my friend get married. 2 day break from this bus. DC and Chapel Hill, I'll make it up to you.

You sound hella paranoid.
I don't remember the last show I went to where there was a pat down.

i love going to different venues and seeing what kind of security they have going in.  i would hope for the best of the best, and i dont mind mind waiting an extra few minutes for bag searches and pat downs . . . but sometimes i see places where people just stream on in only to have their ticket checked.

I think the last pat-down show I went to was... Killer Mike, El-P and Mr. Motherfuckin Exquire at the Hotel.

I understand the pat downs at jamband shows but the hip-hop and metal show pat downs never made sense to me.

And I have heard pray tell that a portion of hip-hop and metal fans enjoy the occasional experimentation with marijuana.

I guess it depends on the venue?

I'm sure they're more scared of a stabbing at a rap/metal show than at a Justin Timberlake show.

That El-P show at RNR was attended by 80% white folks. I'm sure the decision to pat down has nothing to do with the audience  ::)

Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake was just fantastic.  Beautifully visual stage, great backing band, and non-stop music.  Just amazing...

Excited for Noun tomorrow. Still wondering why Marissa Paternoster's genius is not as celebrated as widely as it should be.
