Welcome to the new forum
WASHINGTON, D.C.: We regret to announce that the GOP shutdown of the federal government has forced the cancellation of the ZOLA JESUS show at the Hirshhorn Museum on 10/25. The Hirshhorn's statement below:"Due to the government shutdown, The Hirshhorn Museum will be unable to proceed with the October 25th After Hours as planned. If you purchased a ticket you will receive an email with details on how to claim a full refund. If you do not receive an email from the Smithsonian, please call 866-868-7774"
edit: yep it's cancelled due to government shutdown...they announced this the day the government is opening back up. what the fuck
Hey all, appreciate the sentiment. We are as disappointed as you. We will be moving the show....to next year. The Hirshhorn is a sacred space and was chosen deliberately for this performance due to the sound logistics and delicacy of Nika w/ string quartet and conductor. To do it in any other space would be an artistic compromise we do not wish to make. We will do it next year, we promise! Come to CHGO or Asheville on 10/24-26?
I notice Franz Ferdinand has been playing 12 song setlists...
