Crowd at Ottobar for Slint was the worst I've seen in a long time. I can't believe these 10 guys paid 35$ each just to have fun annoying other people. Anyway, it was a good choice to also see Slint in Philly, whih turn out to be much better

Crowd at Ottobar for Slint was the worst I've seen in a long time. I can't believe these 10 guys paid 35$ each just to have fun annoying other people. Anyway, it was a good choice to also see Slint in Philly, whih turn out to be much better

Were we at the same show!? I was towards the back, or actually close to these 10 guys who seemed to be on drugs or something and shouted random things the whole show, and switched position every 10 seconds until they could create their massive mosh pit after one hour or so. Obviously my attempts to have them shut up were met with laughing(?) and more shouting. Of course I am very sorry if I bothered them in their fun evening.

Yeah, the mosh pit seemed quite aggressive, I saw them pushing people violently from the back probably just on the purpose of annoying the people standing still. From their comments and constant laughing, I think pretty much everything they did was directly to annoy the "too quiet" people.

My husband said the crowd was a little chattery towards the bar, but otherwise was a good show.

Then whoever the special guest is better be freakin' good. And if Grohl is in the house, it will be something great. Some evenings are just special regardless of who shows up, and there'll be a lot of talent on stage tonight.
