I have a feeling that this Dinosaur Jr show will be cant miss.  They are going to sound so much better than they did they last time around at Black Cat. 

Yeah, honestly, they were good when I saw them in July, but it wasn't mindblowing by any means. Setlist:

Now, I will say that they were the 2nd band on a 3 band bill, so that certainly played a role.

I have only seen them once, the last time they played Black Cat.  And while it was awesome, it was at Black Cat and the sound was bad.   I don't mind if the set list is similar, as the sound is going to be so much better.

Because sound is not everything. 

1.  It was my first time seeing them.
2.  I was on a date.
3.  They played all of the songs that I wanted to hear. 

The sound usually sucks at the Black Cat main stage.  Nowadays I try to avoid it as much as I do Rock and Roll Hotel, but sometimes it is unavoidable.
