Not only is he former Sub-Pop recording artist or Off
Records creator or current GBV bass player but Chris
Slusarenko is also a video director. He recently
created this BRILLIANT video for Mascara Snakes and
 you can check it out here;

 http://www.offrecords.com/media.html

I don't think there has ever been a video for one of
Bob's projects taht have been nearly this good!

Apparently Beatle Bob put in an appearance at the Old 97's set at the Austin City Limits Fest (this written by somebody on one of their message boards)

This is not a proper review but just some quick thoughts. Wish I could
remember the setlist but I was too busy singing/dancing. opened with the
other shoe, ended with doreen for 2 song encore. (the first was a solo
question from Rhett) Beattle Bob joined in for the last several songs,
weather was perfect, crowd was huge. setlist was all the "hits" I guess you
could say. Just an awesome 60 mins. I think the band won't ever forget this
one. they seemed to be having a ball.

So I heard Beattle Bob stars in the new GBV video (see link above). Can anybody confirm this?

I remember briefly chatting with him at a festival in Alabama about 7 years ago. Strange guy. Anybody else seen/met him?

Pollard said in an interview in Amsterdam that he wrote GBV's current single for the Strokes, but decided to keep it, interesting.

First post here...I moved into the area about a month and a half ago.  Went to the University of Dayton, with Brian Pollard, Bob's son.  Good stuff, and they played constantly in the area.  Nothing like cheap beer with the kids of stars huh?

You ain't just whistling Dixie, jadetree (you know, that's now a rock n' roll song, not country)

All indications are that there will NOT be a show in DC. Looks like will have to go to Recher.

Rumor which was not denied: Tobin Sprout will be playing some shows with the band leading up to the box set release.
