putting a/c in a car that didn't have it originally is not only expensive but will probably 'eff up the engine...I bet you don't get much change from a $1000 to drop a/c in it.

What kind of car is it?

C'mon Samantha, don't be such a pussy. I went years without A/C in my old Lebaron until it died. Even now, I barely run the A/C because I've already lost three alternators in my current car.

Samantha, all you have to do is angle your vents just right, find an empty highway and then open all of the windows and drive fast.   :D   Works like a charm, right Rhett? I too started with a non-a/c car.

Hey, if you remember, it worked for Thirsty and his stench-mobile.

Actually, removing the dead squirrel that was under the passenger side seat got rid of the stench.  But opening the windows on a hot day did help a little.

You can stick one of those battery operated fans on the dash like the rednecks do.

(disclaimer....by redneck I mean someone who works outside!)

Or, you can just cruise around nude (provided you have cloth seats)

LOL! I never heard about the poor little squirrel.

Thirsty, you know you aren't supposed to let your pets closed up in a hot car like that. Tsk, tsk.

yeah, put up without the a/c.  my first car, err truck, didn't have a/c.  it was a ton of fun driving in texas and back to california through the mojave desert in the summer with my window rolled down and groovin' to the music.  if anything, you should spend your money on a new stereo and speakers.

it would be different if I could roll down windows...but only one will roll down.  the other one is broken.  aswell as my car barely goes over 60 so I never get much wind...haha
