"stagger lee" was a nice way to finish up.  "your funeral, my trial" was fun, nick mentioned that they hadn't played it in a while and made no promises about pulling it off.  sounded great.

i'm  glad i went the first night...although i'm sure night 2 was great i would have been sad not to hear we call up on the author or night of the lotus eaters.. those are two of my favorite three songs from the new album..

 On another note, I'm glad to hear that the setlist wasn't much different from Sunday's gig. I was afraid that he would've performed one of my favorite songs and I would've missed it.
 
 Lastly...Samantha, your offer is  tempting as all get out. But I have class early in the morning tomorrow and therefore I have to be good. I just hope that Nick will be back to DC in 2009 or 2010.

I have class until 3 today (crap I'm going to be late) and then at 11 tomorrow morning.  Philly is a 3 hour drive from my place.  I am absolutely torn, dunno what to do....
 
 PS.  Bearman, how come you didn't say hi to me backstage??  Pshhh!  I was waaaaiting.  I would've come and said hi to you, but my legs were dead.  I needed to stay seated.
