Don't normally listen to Beyonce, but the new one intrigued me.. so far it's fading in out of the background but the first single "Break My Soul" which samples Robin S.'s mighty might anthem "Show Me Love" is good. And this one really jumped out at me "Pure/Honey" as is last track "Summer Renaissance" which samples Donna Summer. and of course Pure/Honey is the next single of this record..
https://youtu.be/WM133A3vqLEI also learned because Kelis is upset that Milkshake was sampled without clearance on this one... turns out because it's a Neptune's song, so she might not have any say in the matter... anyways I learned Milkshake was written for and later rejected as a Brittney Spears track. also apparently in huff Pharrell told Kelis he'd wish he had given to Brittney instead... i'm not seeing Milkshake as Brittney track
