 I was scheduled for a trip out to Chicago the evening of his DC show, but it looks like I'll still be able to go.  Can't wait!

 Found this great blog today with some high quality vinyl rips of vintage Halloween records.   http://scarstuff.blogspot.com/
 
 Anyways, this record from 1959 on which Rod McKeun is involved with not only has a song, "The Mummy" covered by the Fall, it has "The Beat Generation" which serves as inspiration to "The Blank Generation" one of greatest punk songs ever written.
