no they arent . . . but i am only basing that on one album. maybe all around, they suck. if i cant stress enough, go listen to martha wainwright and her album come home to mama. awesome. you know that feeling you get when you love a band, and you think their albums are the shit because almost every song on them is killer . . . and you wait for the new one, so excited, and you hear the new single, and it rocks the faith that they still have it. then the album comes out and you get it, and i mean get it in your hands. you listen, you realize why they put out that song as the single. damn you vampire weekend for making your new album, that album.
