I am loving how you got all this TAD stuff Bob. I wish I had all of their discography. J. Mascis did a great job on Inhaler as well. Its slick but also heavy and rugged. Have you seen the TAD documentary? Its fascinating.
yeah,the documentary is great, if you haven't seen the Mudhoney "I'm Now" doc, check that out. between the two it gives a great overview of the whole Seattle/Sub Pop thing. In fact, until I watched the doc, I had no idea this version of the album cover had been recalled for legal reasons.
I think Tad (and this album) is a favorite because he was my first intro to something other than hardcore punk. A friend gave me a copy of this and Bleach in early '91 and it took a while for it to sink in, but after seeing both Nirvana and Tad live it changed everything. Plus they're they underdog, the underrated, and the left-behind of the Seattle bands.
