lulu, anemia and iron deficiencies are serious and not to be joked about! shame on you!   :D

actually i do know a cool trick... if you rub a fairly pure gold ring on your cheek, it will turn black (as though you have been attacked by a pencil) where you traced the ring if you are iron deficient. when i noticed this, my friends immediately wrote bad words on my forehead and whiskers on my cheek. it was awesome!! haha

You think they should be mor grunge? haha, jk.  The show, I thought, was great, although its true the setlist was kinda not cool.  They couldve played Passive Aggressive and Peeping Tom, but Special K was esp cool to hear, thats thier best song i think.  and the "Where Is My Mind" cover at the end was the icing on the cake. The crowd was jumping in the front, standing in the back and didnt seem to un-930ish to me. I got there late and managed to unrudely get about 10 feet from the stage, so that was cool.
Worth $20 definitely, but i wouldve picked PJ over Placebo had they not been at the Nissan Hellhole.  I wouldnt even go see Radiohead there, unless it was thier only US show, which wont ever happen!

So then.....

did they play anything off their masterwork first album?

Did they play for an hour and then have a two song encore?

Was the bass player tall and skinny?

no
   yes
   sure

I have an attention span problem AND got there late, but i heard
    The Bitter End
    Black Eyed
    Every Me, Every You
    English Summer Rain
    Without You I'm Nothing
    This Picture
    Special K
    Slave To The Wage
    Pure Morning
(not really in that order and i probably missed a couple)
the encore was that song i can never think of the name of, and then Where is My Mind was the last song.

Thanks Sonic, you're the best.

so I missed pure morning and every you, every me....

 $10 for each decent song....

I am not sure that would work well in the dollar per minutes of entertainment scale...

I made the right choice in resisting.

I dunno...I really like "The Bitter End" and some of the other new tunes.  I'd go see them again.

yeah i liked the sound but was really disappointed in the setlist.  they didnt play some of the best songs: days before you came, 36 degrees, commercial for levi, nancy boy, and spite and malice!  also, how could a first rate band like placebo end a set with a cover?!

i had a particularly fabulous time being the obnoxious fangirl i am...
however i could have done without that guy in front of me informing everyone about his hard-on and throwing dollar bills at Stefan.

good thing the dat player didn't have a hangover...

all the "hip" bands end their shows with a cover these days

 or

is this cover thing becoming a cliche?

I thought it was a fantastic show. Somehow, I didn't think it would be that loud and hard? They rocked out and got a rapturous response from the crowd. I can't believe I've never seen them before. Great energy and great sound. I hope they come back.
