So I'm looking forward to my first Placebo concert experience tonight...  Who else is going?

I'm going.  and also very much looking forward to it.  I'm surprised it hasn't sold out.

Not for me....

I really just think the new album is terribly bland and conceited.

Have fun though.... Let us know if they play lots of songs from the first two albums, then I might be regretful.

I've never heard them but their name reminds me of childbirth.

I imagine childbirth to be no less painful than having to listen all the way through their current album.

i'll agree w/ sonickteam2, half of the album i like...i hope they'll sing few songs from the first album...however, it will be a refreshing event, bringing a breath of home, memories, youth!

This will be my second time seeing Placebo, and they are one of my faves. Yes, their new album is very ??conceited?. That is one of the reasons I love them. Purely gratuitous arrogance!

Childbirth may be longer than 50 minutes usually.

hello newbie,

Perhaps conceited wasnt a good choice of vocabulary....

Perhaps bland and comfortable.... Is it me of do Placebo use the same rhymes in all their songs?

Either way the current album doesnt go anywhere the last three had already been.
