oh and Sub Pop is pretty clearly the label of the year, until someone points out a better choice

I havent really listened to much, but from what I heard, not so much.
 
 I like the guys effete voice, but I like his harmonies/duets with Rilo Kileys singer more and I love the mild electronica, beep beep plinkiness, takes me back to the pet shop boys.........

favorite show of the year, no, so far favorite show of my entire life was the rollins band with keith morris.  favorite album of the year so far is the new suicide machines

I will add the Rosie Thomas, James Mercer, Iron and Wine (all on Subpop) show at Iota to the best shows list. They are listed in my order of preference.
