really, you ought to stop, you don't know what you are talking about, it is laughable to call Jobs my little hero, I only argue on here with you because I find your point of view obnoxious when it comes to Apple

also your view that overpaying for a defensive shortstop is a great signing is obnoxious   :D

After the MS announcement from today, I couldn't agree with you more.

So you did see Eck boot the DP ball in the top of the ninth last night that gave the Dodgers one more chance to catch your beloved Cards?  I would have text messaged you for sure if I had your number!

of course i saw it, and I dont have or want a cell phone, and I have never claimed eckstein was a great signing, and I think the Cardinals way overpaid, they did not overpay as much as the Angels did for Cabrera though, but maybe we shouldn't take this thread on to baseball

Am I the only person in the world who would prefer one high-quality electronic device per function than two or three crappy combo devices?

Take camera phones: I have one because the phone was on sale, and cool, and my favorite design, although I had just made fun of people who have camera phones.  But it takes sucky pictures with no exposure, and if I want to get decent photos, I have to buy a real camera anyway.  I'd rather not pay the extra $50 now, and save it up to buy a "real" camera/phone/mp3 player later.

Maybe I'm just bitter because I was just looking up cable internet and was shocked at the $60/month pricetag.  They try to sweeten the deal with "free webpages! seven emails!" etc., etc., but I'd rather do away with all that and just pay $40 instead.

Same problem when I was looking for PDAs.  I wanted WiFi.  I wanted space.  I did NOT want an MP3 player. I already have an iPod.  Why pay another $50 for a sucky feature?

Bottom line: no more stupid add-ons.  Just lower the prices on everything.

Double Amen.  And I do...one PDA, one phone, one ipod, one dig camera.  Granted, I think it's easier for chicks -- I can carry a purse and just throw it all in...
