i can't stand all this lefty bullshit. look at the phrase you started this thread with, and then check the rest of the front page. nobody had the balls to start a thread expressing their disgust at how an innocent civilian was brutally decapitated by these sick nut-jobs, but you're still so pissed at bush and his cronies. where's the world outrage over this sick action? how about the US outrage? it seems like we don't care, and i find that troubling.
generally speaking, we've been put under the microscope because of the prison abuses, but a large part of that scrutiny came from within our borders. our journalists broke the story, our military is prosecuting the courtmarshall of the guilty MP's and/or interrogators, and our government's legislature is holding daily hearings on what went wrong and how to fix it. all these things are true because we try to hold our own(americans) to a higher standard.
Our enemy has no standard. no respect for the lives of innocents, no respect for the families of those they killed, and no expectations that they themselves should care about such things.
war is awful. that was NOT war. that was a bunch of twisted psychos executing a not only unarmed, but handcuffed civilian- to make a political statement.
i don't really care about bush or rumsfeld, they can go to hell, but they better go FAR behind the assholes who killed that man.
