I'd really like to see Pavement play
The last time I saw Pavement they were pelted with mud.
I don't want anyone to "get back together." If a band breaks up, it breaks up. Life goes on.
Would anyone REALLY want to see the Smiths get back together? They were fresh and exciting when the were in their early twenties. They'd be sad and pathetic now. That can apply to ALL of those bands on the list.
What is this affliction that rock fans catch? It's like a Scavenger Hunt. You have a mental list of "bands you missed" and now you'll pay ANYTHING ($100+) to see them again now that they've gotten back together when you KNOW the band is ONLY doing it for the money. It's like a surgically reconstructed hymen.
A band breaking up is like two people getting a divorce. It's an end. You can't recreate a marriage and you can't recreate the Replacements. Move on. Nostalgia will kill you, if you let it.
