So it's acceptable to be against gay marriage, so long as you're not cruising restrooms for gay sex?

maybe, i've never asked or read anything one way or another.

but unlike craig, hillary doesn't court and align herself with right-wing religious conservatives who are openly anti-gay.  and then go old-school cruising for gay sex in public restrooms. [/b]

from a logical point of view, i'd say that would be a good start.  someone who engages in gay sex yet denies gays certain rights doesn't make sense to me.  but being anti-gay marriage is stupid in the first place, in my left-wingnut opinion (and i agree that churches should have the right to not perform gay marriages, but the state shouldn't block the possibility).

whatever.  you don't see any hypocracy here, whereas it's blatant to me.  alternately, we could engage in the "do gays have a right to marry" debate... but i'd really rather not.

What does gay marriage have to do with gay sex in an airport bathroom?
I would agree with the first part of your post - John Edwards is a good example of someone who is a supporter of most gay rights, but does not support gay marriage.  But that's not what we're talking about here.

The difference, of course, is that John Edwards is not gay, and I have yet to meet a gay person who does not think that gays should be allowed to marry.

At least the latter admitted his actions...

But to draw a parallel is a bit of a stretch.

im now typing up something for a partner on a case he got suckered into (no pun intended). and the guy he's representing masturbated in his car while driving a 19-year old chick to the train station.

cant wait to read what her statement says. cant believe im having a discussion with the partner about masturbation in public/private. so im now doing research for him on this and its proving to be quite interesting.

I talk about masturbation with the partner all the time. Sometimes we even do it together.
