Europe & United States
« on: September 13, 2007, 04:50:00 pm »
Call!

What's your favorite band? your favorite music? (and your age...)

What are the European bands you know?

Have you ever heard about Trust? Lacuna Coil? Children Of Bodom? Rammstein? The Gathering?

What do you think of Nightwish and Paradise Lost (in concert in US soon)?

I just want to understand american people music...
 Thanks...

I would log out, turn of your computer, and run very fast...I fear an onslaught you couldn't have possibly imagined when you thought this was a good idea......

Alright, I'll bite just in case your name is Karine, and your a 30 year old girl with blue eyes from France, single and an Aquarius.  If you're not, I'd follow bnyced0's advice.

Welcome to the 9:30 board.  There are some rockers on the board, but there's not too much conversation about Euro Metal bands these days.  Of course, you could be the trail blazer in that arena.

Why don't you hangout for a little while, get a better feel of the place and see what might interest you?

THIS POST IS NOT AN ATTACK!

It is not only about Euro Metal band! This is my reference, of course. But I just want to know if you know, in United States, European bands (not only metal bands!!!). This seems (for me) so simple... sorry to be curious!

My will was not to create a polemic. What's wrong with my questions?... my english is so bad, I know but seriously, I do not understand...

VANS> Hum, I am sorry, I am a 50-year old man, my name is Jean-Francois, I am Suiss, married with two children... so sorry...

You're good.  I was just joking with you!  I think some people probably think you were a little forward in your questions and your use of a lot of exclamation points.

Like I said there are only a few rockers on the board so maybe they'll chime in soon.  This board tends to be populated by indie fans and a lot of people with too much time on their hands (I fit into both categories).  I recognize those bands by name, but I know little about them.  Give it a few days and see if anybody else more knowledgeable then me speaks up.

And be patient - it takes a little while for people to get used to new folks.

Don't worry you certainly were not offensive, and it is obvious that you are just trying to make conversation.

This is probably just not quite the right place for the information you inquired about, but it is a good place to find out about shows coming to the area, and to follow the unimportant news of the day.

The age group on this board might is also a little young for half of your references, and too ethnocentric for the other half.

But welcome, I would certainly hope for some consideration if I were posting on a message board that wasn't in my native country or tongue.

But  THIS PLACE might be more a little closer to what your looking for instead of the 930 club.

really?  so what if this person was?  i don't get what the difference would be... beautiful & annoying is still annoying and online you don't even get the upside of starring at her cleavage or being seen with her.

bonus points for the aquarius preference, tho.

I will chalk it up to July 2006 vs Oct 2001.  You're just going to have to trust me on this one...
