Looks like V-fest is going to party like it's 1994.

Great show.  I accidently brushed/kicked a guy in the head during Sabotage at Lolla 1994.  The guy was so impressed by how high I got from a standstill that he didn't kick my ass, but did ask me to calm down or move away from him for the rest of the show.

Bring the L7, call in Nick Cave, set up a second stage featuring a 10-hour set by Clutch, keep the beer prices down, and get the tickets on sale.

the chemical brothers would be lovely for vfest! and then an aftershow at the 930 club with them again! though maybe, techically, that won't be feasible since its pimlico and not rfk.

This was probably the last decent travelling lolla. Any of these bands would be a fine addition for vfest. The Flaming lips were the highlight for me. Beautiful day at Starlake Ampitheatre, shrooms, bubble machine and killer Lips live for my 1st time seeing them. Been a fan  ever since. If there was one band from the above list to be at Pimlico please, please Shonen Knife!!

Im not sure what the overall consensus on modest mouse is in terms of popularity but I would hope they do not headline the indie stage and go up against the police.

I would consider it far more likely they're the "second" headliner behind SP on day 2. But we don't really have any idea which day they're playing.

i went to vfest last year and decided to upgrade to vip. wasnt worth it really. we had port-o-potties like everyone else. we were able to use the bathrooms in the grandstand and have air conditioning, but you couldnt see the stage there. also everyone that was in the grandstand area wasnt vip, luckily everyone didnt know about it. we could use the bleachers, but they are too far from the stage. the area that was roped off wasnt raised, it was the same level as everything else. i was lucky enough to grab a good spot not to far from the stage and had a great view of the peppers so i wasnt pissed about the waste of money.

i would love to see incubus at vfest

Where did you hear Modest Mouse was playing? I can't find info on the stuff anywhere. Has anyone else been added?
