But look at any given week - I've cycled through probably 10-12 at this point - and I have yet to see one where U2 is ahead of Radiohead.
As if I didn't cehck on my own...

With the exception of new album week, you likely won't find one because Last.FM does not represent the masses.  It represents audiophiles, and there is no doubt in my mind that Radiohead are oogled by audiophiles to a much greater level than U2. [/b]
then argument is over!!

people who love music love Radiohead, people who dont, love U2 or Puddle of Mudd, or Boys Like Girls.

Just another thought - how much of this debate is generational as well?

I'm 24 - I feel like Radiohead is probably more significant to my generation than U2 is, just by virtue of what we've grown up with.

That's a low ass blow.  For Christ's sake, please don't mention U2 & Puddle Of Mudd/Boys Like Girls in the same sentence.

 Ever.

Do you go to the lot & see Yugos sold alongside an Infiniti or Ferrari????  Me thinks not.

BTW, G.G.Dubya - The Director doth thinketh thou is fire today with your divine postings . . .

That's fine.  I'm good with that.  That's your opinion.  Just don't spit out any more warped ass points of view you state as fact & we're good.    ;)

Ha!  I don't know that I ever stated them as fact - I'm pretty careful to make statements on music fairly subjective.  But fair enough - I'll keep my hyperbole to myself.

I know.  The doors are closing on my plane here and I will be in LA for the next couple of days.  You're on your own here for the rest of the weekend.  God speed to you, mate.
