Someone please come in and tell me how good the Slowdive show is. I kept meaning to look for tickets and then someone offered me a ticket to the Wizards game and even then I totally could've gone to the Slowdive show because the game was done by 9:00 but I just didn't have the energy and had already dropped $100+ on the bball game so come in here and tell me how bad I fucked up.

Great Wiz game though, man that was fun.

It's funny when people say "somebody offered me a Wizards tickets" and it turns out it's someone selling the ticket for $100+.

I know it's hard to comprehend, but people spend money when they attend events.

I know it's hard to comprehend, but sometimes when people have an extra ticket, they do the "friend thing" and offer friends the ticket comp or reduced price, not greedily try to recoup the financial loss of accidentally buying too many tickets by instead selling the ticket to a friend for full price.  ;)

My assumption is Relaxer bought $14 bud lights and $12 chicken tender baskets.

The crowd was adoring, the sound was great, the light show was great and it was loud.  I do like shoegaze but I found most of their songs to be a little too similar.

I thought it was kinda lackluster, to be honest.  Love the band but it just seemed a bit flat last night.

very enjoyable Midnight Oil show....some obscure tracks in there, but they delivered the "hits" in the end.

The Twin Peaks show was killer, ripped through probably 20 songs in an hour.. is there anything better than a half sold 930 club where the show starts and ends by 11pm??? I think not! I was definitely in the 1% of old terds at the show. Haven't seen that many teens at a show since Reel Big Fish in 1995.

Additionally, lots of marijuana smoke and crowd surfing/moshing during this show. It appears the security at 930 has become a bit lax in recent years (however, a few folks did get booted for these activities).

Would see again!

Thought this wasn't coming back until the 21st; also, we have a thread for this topic.

Enjoyed the show as well, and agree.

Sidenote: was discussing that I paid $12.70 to attend, and young Australian gent next to me was distraught, he had paid $170 per ticket x2.

His experience, no doubt, felt significantly more luxurious than yours. Yours was a concert of the poor.
