Anyways yesterday I went into a record store sans mask.. by accident of course

Poor kid came out from behind counter in shock and asked me if I could put on a mask.. I think he was scared of me..he looked really scared

I just went back to my car and got my mask

No more was said on the matter

i'm in too, but how much do we really need?  how much can a pair of pies and a few craft beers run?  or are we turning this into a fundraiser, and if so for whom?

I don't understand what the appeal of this would be for you guys.

I mean, I watched Scenes from a Marriage and enjoyed it, and this has the added benefit that I don't have to read subtitles.

I was thinking that soon I expect companies to say they don’t require masks

https://boston.cbslocal.com/2021/05/14/trader-joes-face-masks-fully-vaccinated-massachusetts/amp/?__twitter_impression=true

How will Trader Joe's know you're fully vaccinated? Honor system?

Got an email from my employer today saying fully vaccinated can go madkless in building. Of course we're not back in the office so point is moot.

It’s all honor system

which is 100% not going to work.  if you're anti-vax, but your lack of vax is preventing you from getting your mitts on trader joe's deals on cheese, how long do you think you'll spend on the moral dilemma before boldly declaring you've been jabbed?  i'm thinking less than planck time.

so the question, for me, becomes: there are going to be unvaxxed and unmasked people around me - how comfortable am i with that?  i'm OK for my own sake, but i do worry about the kiddoes.

Saw two Giant workers working without masks this morning. All customers were masked. I guess we're in the Honor System stage, baby.

My kid got her fist shot yesterday. System glitched so we ended up standing in a line for 60 minutes. I was the only person (out of hundreds) without a mask in the outdoor line. I hope I made Yada proud.

Disgraceful.  I would've worn a mask in that scenario.

Where do you live where grocery store workers were “first” in line for vaccines? Because it’s not Virginia, Maryland, or DC.
