damn...that's a good incentive...although could seriously make him broke

anyone that comes with vaccine papers, that proves that has been vaccinated will get $50 gift certificate for any of
@thinkfoodgroup  restaurants in the @washingtondc area...

An excellent offer to encourage people to get vaccinated. Alternatively, one can forego their vaccine protection and become an incubator for more aggressive COVID19 mutations all while accepting nearly all the risk of infection.

Probably doesn't include alcohol and that's where the real profit margins are....

Or, he's just being nice.  Imagine that.

Now this type of incentive I like

https://www.mediaite.com/news/ohio-governor-announces-a-million-dollar-lottery-for-adults-who-have-gotten-vaccinated/
This is absolutely what we should be doing.

I like that idea. Might be more effective if they spread the wealth and split the million between 100 10K winners. That would definitely be enough dollars to entice some people to get vaccinated, and with 100 winners people would think they had a legit shot.

Though the Republicans will never be about spreading the wealth.

That's also a good plan. Or a small stimulus check to those who can prove vaccination.

For Yada

Fauci says no need to wear mask outside if you been vaccinated

https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/world/live-news/coronavirus-pandemic-vaccine-updates-05-13-21/index.html?__twitter_impression=true

Well no shit!

I will say, it's going to be weird all of a sudden to be in groups of people this summer. Will you still mask up at an outdoor concert?

I don’t know that I will mask up outdoors ..I mean I don’t think so

I would feel better if I could get my kids vaxxed

I would feel better if I could get my kids vaxxed
you will
I guess jules would be better to answer this, but I think in the next few weeks it will be readily available for kids
there are sooo many locations now giving out shots with out any screening necessary
so when the kids are approved from the CDC I can only imagine you can just walk up and get it done within a few weeks of that
but this is all conjecture, not based on actual news/facts

Is your concern that you are going to pass it to your kids if you go to an unmasked concert after you are vaxxed?

Space posted an article that 2-11 years old is likely coming in September so still a bit of wait.

Yup

I am not going to wait for vaccines -for my kids - to go back to shows or do other stuff...

But I will probably limit my activities until early August or so...

Then I will just wing it I guess for a while until they get vaccinated

I can only do so much..

I am a little confused on this topic, because I have heard anecdotal stories about people getting their kids vaxxed

well you could go to concerts unmasked and then self-isolate for two weeks ;)

I did just read that starting Saturday kids 12-15 are eligible...isn't one of your offspring in that age range?
