Has anyone ever told you that you bear an uncanny resemblance to Barney Rubble?

everyone that wanted tickets got tickets.  they're evening throwing in free lay-z-boy recliners for everyone to sit in at the club.

No, but now indie kids are competing with the Abercrombie crowd for tickets.  Always makes for exciting times.

I'm cooler.  No I'm cooler.  I was cool before you were cool.  I was cool before it was cool to be cool.

I was willing to take credit for the girls flashing the band from the balcony, but I guess I have to include the guys too:

"It was a different sound that dominated, and it's growing," says Matt Smith, music director of Los Angeles' KROQ radio station. "We played Interpol's first album when they were at a small theater and all the kids had on black eye makeup. Now they play and it's 2,600 guys with backward Abercrombie hats and girls in the balcony flashing the band."

And I'm sure "Evil" on in the background everytime the chicks were on the verge of making out on last week's episode didn't hurt ticket sales.

So all the indie kids and abercrombie kids like this band now. So what.... Isn't success what every band strives for? Shouldn't the band enjoy the fruits of their labor?

Very few of us on this board are "kids." Hell, many of us are over 30 (gasp).

Eesh. Add Chemical Romance or not, interesting crowd it should be. Especially considering last year's was a sleeper!

I used to think so too, but you just haven't listened to it enough.  Antics is a great album.

Ugh, I gave up early and bought a ticket for the Electric Factory show in Philly.  I had to do the same thing for Belle & Sebastian.

lamer than typing in allcaps? [/b]
Yes, but not as lame as complaining about typing in all caps on a club's message board...

ok.

Tickets will be available only to women who participate in a wet t-shirt contest, and will be distributed in the order of best to worst performance.  Men seeking tickets must beg the women for them, or can get one of a limited number of tickets for beating markie at either a game of pool or a two-player pac man game.
