RIP Gibbles potato chips and cheese puffys.

I am SO SAD about this.  A mainstay in my family for many many years.

This really bothers me though, in my world, Gibbles Potato Chips have been half dead for decades once they changed the recipe. Don't know why they did it but they are not the same chips I grew up with. Completely different. They use to be really thick and crunchy. All twisted up with a great bite and taste. I've never been a big fan of potato chips but loved those things. Then at some point, they started making them to be much more like Utz. Different but much closer to Utz than their original form.

When I was a kid I use to love visiting my grandparents and taking a walk up to the Martin's store for a treat. Grew up with Gibbles Potato Chips, Martin's Potato Rolls and Yingling Beer well before either of those made their way here. Okay, so it was the adults in my family drinking the beer and me swiping sips on occassion. Still not impressed with the beer, the chips lost what made them so good but those potato rolls better stay around as long as I'm here.

In some weird way, it's sort of like losing a family member. Even a bit more shaking that Gibbles went only months after my mother dying as these things are all things I relate to her side of the family.

Harry Reems
not as sad as Jason Molina but probably more of an influence to my 12-year-old self.

The man had a threesome with Ginger Lynn and Traci Lords. Yeah, what a tough life he led.

What makes you think he had a tough life?
Though he provides a solid, relatively eloquent interpretation of the legal problems he had right here

I was just ineloquently agreeing with your comparison to Jason Molina, in a roundabout way.
