Watched Gifted on the plane ride home from vacation. Was my daughter's pick. Conventional but surprisingly watchable. I also watched Kong Skull Island, among others. Is that the first film to user an Iggy song and an Ozzy song in the same film?

Loved Spider Man: Homecoming

Super funny, great action, tons of heart. Kind of like Ant-Man. Loved all the tie-ins/fallout from the main Avengers storyline too. Plus the after credits scene is just amazing.

The 25 Best Films of the 21st Century (so far)

I've only seen nine of them.  I guess I lose my cinephile credentials.

I've seen 12. Not sure how Wendy and Lucy made that list. Sweet movie, but not the best of the century, by any means.

I have only seen six of those movies. 

How is Mulholland Drive not on the NY Times list? 

I've seen 12 of the top 25 from the link below, where Mulholland Drive is the number 1 movie (and have seen 34 of the top 100).

just watched, arrival.  damn, that is a great, great movie.  slow at first, and then it sucks you in . . . by the end you are simply left mesmerized by the concept and way it was shot.

Caught Dunkirk last week, thought it was great. Nolan knows how to make pretty movies.

Baby Driver was also tons of fun, probably my favorite soundtrack of the year. Bits of the movie seem like a musical even during car chases. So much fun. Highly recommend!

I saw Mother! a couple nights ago and it definitely took me a couple days to process. I wasn't sure if I liked it or not but after a few days I think I want to see it again... That is one insane movie. I suggest everyone goes to see it. Every review I've read for it is wrong.......... I think.
