the new joker, good?

good, as in, disenfranchised person hates the world . . . becomes a monster, and starts killing people?  don't we see enough of that daily on the news, when some asshat shoots up another school, or place they used to work?  so we, as a society, now think its cool to be the crazy person who has had enough, and violence is fun and art.

o,k.  yeah, I know . . . i'm fun, at parties.

I opted for the feel good yet somewhat shmaltzy Blinded by the Light recently and was thoroughly entertained.  It's a wonderful story.

That recent mini-series on CNN called The Movies reminded me of a lot of great films that I've missed. Now that summer concert season is about over I can get back to movies and books that have been piling up.

Like the exact opposite for me as late sept/oct/nov has too many shows and I've only seen 2-3 the whole summer

You're right, what am I talking about? I've got almost as much lined up as I did in June, July and August.

Maybe a big one once a month, but mainly area artists here and there at interesting venues like record stores, so not really. Got a few free tickets for Jiffy Lube which is about 15 minutes away, so I rarely say no to those. At my age it's all about the weather and the parking situation.

Yeah that was a really good one. Totally unexpected plot and tone twists.
