Quite possibly the best comedy in the last 3 decades...
what would be other contenders??

Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle (2004)

I think you guys are forgetting about Blockers, Daddy's Home, and Daddy's Home 2. The first Ted, already mentioned, was funny, too.

was on my list...but missed Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle... which would get a 7.5

I didn't think Daddy's Home was that funny
never seen Blockers, but it looked like it might be good

we watched The Florida Project last week - really good albeit a little sad - and a good Willem Defoe appearance

In fairness to myself, the Daddy's Home movies are my daughter and wife's jams.

Being "A Friend Of Judy" has nothing to do with it . . . Judy was a sad incredible hell of a film.  Academy Award for Renee was so well deserved.

Watched this -again- and found it funnier than ever and maybe a bit more relevant given the past year

Finally got around to seeing the Deer Tick movie. Enjoyed a lot. Didn't know that McCauley's dad was a RI politician who, like a lot of RI politicians, ended up in jail, sad I missed out on the early days of the band which look wild. ANyway, its pay what you want.

is it me or does this sound like an epic train wreck in the making

Greta Gerwig will next collaborate with Noah Baumbach in co-writing and potentially directing a live-action Barbie film, starring Margot Robbie in the title role.

I know those two are supposed to be critical darlings, but I haven't liked a single film either of them have made.
