I meant to check their site as well. Within Rams Head's email announcements they ask for votes for who you would want to play at the venue. One nominee was Ambulance LTD. Generally, those voted on, eventually play there.

Does MCI have a backstage like the Black Cat?    Hell, even REM couldn't sell out the MCI Center when they came to town last year. That's why the show was moved out to the Patriot Center.
