I caught Eisley at Coachella last year.  it was like a bunch of kids trying to sound like Coldplay.  but then, I have heard Snow Patrol be compared to Coldplay as well.   Eisley is very talented, if you can get away from them looking like a teenie band or something.

looks like i won't be going to the Black Cat anytime soon. Plenty of good Sept/Oct concerts at Iota and 9:30 Club though.

They used to be Moss Eisley, but changed their name after fearing they may be sued by George Lucas.  They're kids (four siblings), but they're clever.  They name Radiohead as their main influence in music (OK Computer era), as well as Coldplay and Bjork.
 
 I've heard them be described as looking like pops stars but sounding indie.  No full length albums, but a couple of EPs are floating around.
