Have to agree with you there. Not one of those bands would stir me out even to a free show! In fact, I'd go out of my way to avoid about 90% of them. Has nothing to do with politics for me. Just can't stand any of those bands.

Not "has beens" to their fans.  But this was discussed ad nauseum in a thread last year.
