Where is the 8X10 Club?

There is no 8x10 anymore. It changed names to the Funk Box and is located in Federal Hill in Baltimore.
 
 Ticketmaster has listings for the 8x10 for some reason as well as the Funk Box, although they are both listed as being at 10 E Cross Street, which seems to be a space/time anomoly.
 
 BTW, when are those Black Crowes tickets going on sale?

Thats cool, Goat, you may know more than me, but in the Baltimore City Paper last week, The ad said 8x10.

I think somebody recently said the club known as the Funk Box was going back to it's old name (8 X 10).

No, I threw it in to honor the French Canadians here...but then, I doubt there are many in the US. They're all over in Hull, drinking cheap red wine and sleeping in their cars.

..and my next trip today is to Comp USA for a new keyboard...to answer your question:  It seems there are no Canadians who confess to being French...but I honor them because many years ago, in a working class bar in Hull, I heard about ten Rolling Stones songs played by a band made up of mostly accordians, spoon players, and assorted derelect street people.  I think they played more, but I only remember the first ten songs...then my three brothers, assorted friends and I - ended up sleeping in our cars on a side street cause the Quebec prov. police have NO sense of humor.  Turns out the band was sleeping in adjacent cars..."...No Satisfaction" played on an accordian, sung with French accents...I love Canada!
