Was this announced?

The 2nd annual POPNOISE FESTIVAL is the 2nd audio/visual event of its type, organized to expose the City of Philadelphia to the best music & art the Independent Art & Music Community has to offer.

Airiel (Chicago), Autumn Thieves (Brooklyn), The Colorfield Theory (Psychedelphia), Hartfield (Japan), Kupei (Puerto Rico),Overlook (Psychedelphia), Project Skyward (NYC), Shade (Pittsburgh), Skydivers (Washington DC), & Stellarscope (Psychedelphia) (click on the link to go to the band page) will be performing at this year's Popnoise Festival, a FREE*-ALL AGES EVENT. There will be an Art & Sculpture Exhibition. There will also be Stand Up Comedy & Freestyle/Urban Poetry performed at this event. We are also going to be accepting canned goods for the Greater Philadelphia Food Bank. All visuals/films by Patetico Recordings, Filming of the event by Axis Video.

Make an effort to keep this community of artists vibrant and open the doors to more artist development & exposure in the region. Last year was great with over 800 people attending and this year it will be even better.

*Though the event is free we expect everyone coming to bring at least one piece of canned food for the Philadelphia Food Bank, if you arrive and have no canned food with you there is a supermarket across the street from the Rotunda where you can purchase some canned food items. No canned food = no admittance.

 When & Where

 Sunday September 18th, 2005

at The Rotunda (University of Penn Campus) 4014 Walnut Street Psychedelphia, PA www.foundationarts.org

Not in here it hasn't but it's all over my other cyberhaunts.

A friend of mine is putting this on but I still can't get out of Tommy what time everything starts and ends. I suspect that hasn't been worked out yet.

There's also another very good Shoegaze festival going on very soon in Fredricksburg, Virginia. I'll have to dig up the details later and come back with them.

what does taking back sunday have to do with trembling blue stars? that's like wanting to go see wolf eyes but thinking bardo pond can't play. no consistency whatsoever.

and pickup, nothing can replace love (unless the pretty things mount another tour), but i'm trying to find a silver lining for september 28th.

when people use the acronym "TBS" in terms of bands, it often refers to Taking Back Sunday

the joke was pretty fucking hilarious if you ask me, i had to peel myself off the floor after a few minutes of uncontrollable laughter ... well done!
