I'm not sure what your taste range is...but my observation is that Iota seems to be bringing in less national Americana talent, and bringing in more garagey, indie rock and Britpop style bands that aren't popular enough to play Black Cat, as well as filling out the roster with more local acts than before.

Hmm, I agree with this part. Seems there are more artists from west or north of the city. Nothing is jumping out at me and not much buzz here about their show for months. (I knew I should have created a thread...Sorry for the OT).
