Apparently, Rogue Wave are scheduled to open. That would make for an awesome show.

Don't see the Pogues listed on ticketmaster.  If it is 9:30 Club, wouldn't it be sold on tickets.com?

Yes, for the last couple of years the eight musicians of "If I should fall from..." have been playing a few shows in the UK and Europe. Still, even if Shane was not there and the remaining seven musicians were to do an instrumental show, that would still be really good.

Not that it can be duplicated, but one of my top all time concerts was the Pogues with Joe Strummer in NYC sometime early 90s (1991 I think...).  Going in I thought I'd be bummed that Shane wasn't there, but Strummer was absolutely amazing.  There *can* be a great Pogues show without Mr. McGowan...

Something tells me Strummer won't be at these Pogues shows.

Hence the caveat, "not that it can be duplicated"

The Pogues played the Azkena Rock Festival in Spain in September, original lineup, and they're playing the "annual" Christmas dates this year.
10 shows including Scotland, England, and Ireland.  "Official" shows are scheduled for March '06 in D.C., Atlantic City, Boston, and 3 nights in NYC.
How far is 930 from Reagan Airport?
 Any Hotels nearby?
Flying up from Florida, and any replies would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!
