$75?  You have got to be kidding me.  Not that he probably can't get that much OR that I don't love the man, but as I recall, the last two summers I have been broke as a result of Ben Folds tickets... [/b]
dont forget you ARE paying to see an Orchestra too.  and i bet those guys are at least half of the ticket price. [/b]
We paid $100 per for Costello and the BSO at Strathmore.  Of course we were in the front row.

i wonder where he will play? world cafe live would be great for a non smoking venue, or northstar bar for that dive bar feel. i love both great locations.

This guy is playing Iota the same night Calexico is playing 9:30 Club:

Parisian Naïm AMOR enlisted the producing skills of John Parish for his first album, "Mistake Love" (2004) and those of Calexico's Joey Burns for his second, "Sanguine" (2005), a mature, French odd pop album recorded with both Burns and drummer John Convertino.

Naïm Amor's previous incarnation, Amor Belhoom Duo, saw him collaborate with Calexico (album "ABBC"), release two albums on Carrot Top Records and tour the US and Europe with The Handsome Family, Calla, David Grubbs, Calexico, Miossec...

In addition to AMOR, Naïm records an ongoing series of instrumental albums: "Soundtracks: Volume One" (FilmGuerrero, 2002) and "Soundtracks: Volume Two" (Howe Gelb's OWOM Records, 2004). Naïm has recorded with Devotchka, Marie Frank, Howe Gelb, Calexico, Pieta Brown, Neko Case, John Convertino... and composed for Marianne Dissard and Françoiz Breut.

Teitur has been added as the opener for KT Tunstall. I might head to this now...(I can't find the original thread "KT Tunstall" so I'll post here - anyone know who is DJing?)

on more than one occasion, i have heard KT Tunstall referred to as "the Alanis Morisette of Scotland"

and while i dont know KT's music, it makes me cringe.

I received a dvd of music videos with my Paste magazine that had a video of one of her songs on it. It was indeed pretty cringeworthy.

And what's the deal with her ticket prices being $15.25? Occasionally a show is $xx.50, but never $xx.25. What's with the $xx.25?
