Same question could apply to Steve Forbert; he's been around for 25 yrs.

so anybody know who Tandy is then?  I am looking to go to the 3/9 show.

Sorry, don't know anything more than allmusic says.

I think I'd pick either the Freedy or Dale shows, but am passing on both, having already seem both, and Buckner as well.

Foundation - 3/18 Velvet Lounge

Does anyone know anything about this band?  There used to be a DC band called Foundation back in the 80's.  I was wondering if it's them.

allmusic lists several Foundations, including one that appears to be Richmond-based.  My guess is that's the one playing.  Anyone know for sure?

Excellent band.  I saw these two open up for Morphine years ago at the 930.  They played mostly blues standards and then pulled off a mean version of I Wanna Be Your Dog.

I really like Bettie Serveert so will have to try to make it at 3pm. I prefer late shows, but a show at 3pm seems sort of interesting. I have seen them two times in DC, old Blackcat and IOTA, and they put a couple of great shows.

Mojo Room is in NE Baltimore near Joe's Record Paradise.  Its easy to get to from DC, take 95 to Moravia, to Bel Air road and your there  :)

That same show also features Myracle Brah and The Things which means drinking and dancing all night long.

A couple of shows at Ottobar for Pollard...

 4/25 Apples in Stereo
 4/29 Lucero

What's the deal with all the good shows skipping DC and playing Baltimore instead?
