I had exchanged emails with their tour manager a couple of weeks ago. She gave me the date, though said it was unconfirmed. I mentioned it on here at the time...been watching the website daily for updates...checked earlier today, she must have just updated within the hour.

i use it all the time in emails and such to mean "yay"
 
 i think it is acceptable in email/im conversation, but i just sounds stupid when people use in actual face to face conversation...totally annoys me
