 Ben Kweller has announced a special, three-night stand in Brooklyn, NY, on each night of which he plans to perform a different album in its entirety.
 
 Scheduled to take place at Southpaw, the shows will feature Kweller performing "Sha Sha" on July 30, "On My Way" on July 31 and "Ben Kweller" on Aug. 1. Ticket prices are set at $18 for a single night ($20 day of show), and three-day passes are set at $50 apiece, according to a press release, which adds that three-day pass-holders will receive a "a private hang with the band." More information is available at  Kweller's website .

Uggh, say it isn't so.  The Patriot Center is hell on earth and frankly probably a bit too big.  Not for their talent, but probably for the local fan base. And a Thursday on top of it!  Philly bound.  But I'm still glad others less picky have a chance to see them headline, they shouldn't have to open for ANYONE.

well, if it's any consolation, they're playing philly the next night so you're free to trek up there (actually, considering that it's a friday and philly is probably closer for you than the patriot center, it would be the right choice for you anyways.  also means more/better seats for me on the 9th   )
