Did consider Halifax and St. Johns because Kosmette has a good friend in St. Johns, but it was proving expensive to fly and lengthy to drive because the ferry takes so long. I think they just keep getting better & better. The VFC show I saw in Toledo was explosive (with Neil Young). If they had come back out for an encore and played Masters of War & Evolution I figured it would have been my favorite all-time seeing them (out of 10+ - including mid-nineties). They are much better musicians now - McCready is probably the most under-rated guitarist in rock. The addition of Matt Cameron on drums has been a huge influx of talent - like godzilla keeping time. NOBODY out there can produce a live bootleg that sounds like they do - even minutes after the show. Their live boots sound like they've compiled & re-mastered an entire tours worth of prime bits. That's my rant for the day. You may now go back to your regularly scheduled reading.
