Looks like we're the first US date of the tour.

great - a show on thanksgiving day... yeah, i don't have plans.  nope.

For a lot of people, the timing on this one is not so great... but for people who are staying in town over the holidays, it's not bad.

The Brazilian Girls did a show at the 9:30 Club on Thanksgiving night three years ago (I was the opening act), and turnout was pretty decent.  I think a lot of people are anxious to escape from their families after a whole day of Together Time, and for those of us staying in town who don't have family in the area, it's nice to have something else to do.

I really enjoyed their show in fall 2007.

Looks like Rodrigo y Gabriela are now doing two dates at the 9:30 Club: Mon. 10/26 and Tues. 10/27.
