Oh wow, I've been waiting my whole life to see Cattle Decapitation play. I know they're no Courtney Love, but who is.

Same day as Black Sabbath which is really poor planning (since both FSS & JLL are LiveNation venues).  Cattle Decapitation comes through town fairly regularly-- surprised you haven't seen them yet.

I am really skeptical about how this show will sell.
1. the Fillmore has about double the capacity of the 930
2. she's touring as "Courtney Love" not "Hole"
3. most fans where there for the 930 show and aren't going to feel a need to go back

I will say her 930 show on the 'live throgh this' tour was a rockin show.  I remember the girl we went with wrote a front page USA today article about it.    Is she even touring a new album?

That was a great show but not at the 930 technically as you know...the place was a falling apart dump owned by Howard... Madder Rose opened and I really dug them at the time... Courtney trotted out her daughter at the show... I remember thinkin' that was nuts...
