I actually liked Neon Bible and didn't much care for Funeral. Downhill since then IMO, though. They also come off as massive douchebags.

I went to one of their Brooklyn preview shows and to their afterparty in Philly where there was a lot of unexpected fan interaction. They seemed super nice!

while Funeral may have been perfect in 04', over time I feel it has lost its luster.......plus Funeral maybe not being as awesome as it once was in a course of six to seven years

That might be the dumbest thing I've ever read on the interwebs. How many albums that you discovered ten f4cking years ago do you actually listen to today? Myself? None. That's kind of how it goes, IMO, it's rare for people to listen to albums they listened to a LOT 10 years ago. And for Funeral, it's about their grandparents dying, and I'd imagine for many of use adults, our grandparents passed long ago. So future appeal of Funeral will be to teens and younger adults first experiencing the album and relating to that sort of loss in their lives.
